Alex Stiff is a music composer, producer and recording artist in Los Angeles, CA. His music can be heard in commercials such as Coca-Cola, Dove, Quiznos, General Mills, Miller, and countless TV shows. He is also a founding member of the indie rock band The Frequency, who has toured and performed with artists as diverse as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Primus, Thievery Corporation, & Matisyahu. The Frequency signed a worldwide publishing deal with Chrysalis in 2009 and their music can also be heard in a Blackberry commercial, and the final scene in Lionsgate's "The Eye" with Jessica Alba.

A Philadelphia native, Alex is a multi-instrumentalist with a love of organic sounds and interesting song structure. His writing diversity can be found on his work in the 2010 film "Across The Line: The Exodus Of Charlie Wright" starring Andy Garcia, Aidan Quinn, and Gina Gershon. The film features 4 pieces (including the opening credits and final scene) ranging in style from Radiohead, The Who, and Lady Gaga.

He is inspired by a range of artists including:

Alex currently lives in Los Feliz, CA.
